It was a strong game for both teams who needed the points so badly to help them with their quest for the current season.
The match carried on with both pushing in search of an opener which wasn’t happening for them despite the opportunities.
The game was evenly balanced with no team ready to allow each other break themselves as they entered the 40 minutes mark.
It was goalless between both teams after 45 minutes of action played. There were opportunities but none could result in a goal.
Second Half ReportÂ
The match came carried on with so much coming from both teams. They stayed calm and well organized still looking for the lead.
Tomas Soucek scored the lead for Hammers with an incredible goal which came in the 50th minute with assist from Bowen to make it 1-0.
The game continued with Casemiro goal which was ruled out by VAR in the 63rd minute leaving things at 1-0.
