Anthony Gordon scored four goals as Newcastle United claimed a 1-6 victory against Qarabag, MySportDab reports.
It was a one sided game which the home side stood no chance against the Premier League team who were scoring for fun.
First Half Report
Anthony Gordon opened the goal scoring in the 3rd minute through Dan Burn assist which made sure it was 0-1.
It became 0-2 in the 8th minute through Thiaw brilliant finish after a good assist from Kieran Trippier as things carried on.
Anthony Gordon scored again to make it a brace and 0-3 from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute which was beautiful.
He scored his hat-trick in the 34th minute which made sure things between both teams became 0-4 with more to play.
Anthony Gordon scored his fourth in the additional time before the first half came to an end with a 0-5 lead.
Second Half Report
The second half was different as the home team pulled one goal back. Jafarguliyev goal in the 55th minute was good enough to make sure it was 1-5.
Harvey Barnes delivered an assist which was finished off by Murphy which made it 1-6 in the 72nd minute.
Newcastle United delivered an outstanding performance from a 1-6 victory against Qarabag which confirmed their qualification despite a return leg yet to be played.
