Real Madrid claimed a narrow 0-1 victory against Benfica in Portugal for the first leg of their playoffs clash, MySportDab reports.
It was a scene which saw Jose Mourinho being shown a red card after complaining to the referee who wasn’t having it.

It was a match which did not fail with so much speculations and buzz from the kickoff until things came to a conclusion.
Benfica had already won during the League phase which saw Real Madrid came into this one to make their revenge and payback.
Jose Mourinho side knew what was at hand as they did everything possible to keep themselves in the match despite the pressure.
There was nothing Real Madrid could do as they ran riot dominating play and creating opportunities which amounted to nothing tangible for them.

There was more to play in the game which carried on until the opening goal from Vinicius Jnr which came in the 50th minute.
Kylian Mbappe made the assist for the goal which made it 0-1. Jose Mourinho was shown two yellow cards under one minute as the match carried on.
Real Madrid ended up with the 0-1 victory against Benfica which put them in a good place of making through into the next round.
