Liam Rosenior is set to become the new Chelsea coach after confirming during his press conference, MySportDab reports.
The decision comes after the club decided on sacking Enzo Maresca following a failed relationship between the manager and owners.
It was said that Maresca had opened up talks about Manchester City on several occasions as they made contacts.

According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the comments which came from Liam Rosenior concerning his move to Chelsea.

“I can go home, see my kids, sign for a magnificent club. I can’t turn down this opportunity.
“These 18 months at Strasbourg have been my best time.

An announcement is expected to happen soon with Strasbourg already looking at potential replacement.
Liam Rosenior will be unveiled as the new Chelsea coach while his first game will come during the Emirates FA Cup in the coming week.
