FT: Chelsea 2-0 Brentford, Cole Palmer STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer were on target as Chelsea claimed a 2-0 victory against Brentford at Stamford Bridge, MySportDab reports.

Liam Rosenior got his first Premier League victory which comes following a loss against Arsenal in the EFL Carabao Cup.

First Half Report

It was Liam Rosenior first Premier League game since taking over from Enzo Maresca who was sacked by the club.

The match started well for both teams, but it was Brentford who did managed to make something almost close to a goal happened.

Chelsea maintained composure until the 26th which saw Enzo Fernandez delivered an assist which was hit perfectly by Joao Pedro to make it 1-0.

The visitors came close but it wasn’t enough as they both finished the first 45 minutes with the scoreline staying 1-0.

Second Half Report 

Action resumed with fresh ideas for both managers who needed to get the job done as three points was at stake.

The match carried on until the 76th minute which saw Cole Palmer scored a beauty from a penalty which ensured it was 2-0 as they pushed on.

Action was seen from both ends with some yellow cards being awarded for the home team while they pushed on forward.

Chelsea managed through to claim a 2-0 victory against Brentford which gave them a much needed three points.
