Victor Osimhen was on target again as Nigeria claimed a 0-2 victory against Algeria in the quarter final, MySportDab reports.
Akor Adams was also on target as the Super Eagles put out another wonderful performance at the ongoing AFCON.
First Half Report
It was end to end action between both teams who did well enough for themselves going forward and also defending.
The Super Eagles had more opportunities which they struggled to make something happened despite how close they came.
No goal happened as Akor Adams had a glorious opportunity which narrowly missed going inside the net for a lead.
Second Half Report
The second half was where all the action happened with so much coming from the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Victor Osimhen made it count with a stunning header in the 47th minute with assist from Bruno Onyemechi which made things 0-1.
The match carried with Akor Adams netting a beauty after dribbling through the goalkeeper to make it 0-2 in the 57th minute.
Osimhen was the man who provided the assist for the goal which ended up seeing Nigeria defeat Algeria 0-2 to qualify for the AFCON semi final which they will take on the host nation Morocco.
