Villarreal put themselves in more trouble after Renato Veiga red card which came in the 39th minute after his challenge on Lamine Yamal.
It was 0-1 between both teams who headed for the break with more action left to be seen by the fans who came to watch.

The visitors had all the advantage which they ensured it counted for so many things as the game carried on.
Frenkie de Jong delivered a wonderful assist in the 63rd minute which was finished off by Lamine Yamal as things turned 0-2.
Barcelona held on fine and claimed a 0-2 victory against Villarreal which gave them three points and extended their lead above Real Madrid on top of La Liga table.
