Alexander Isak scored and was injured as Liverpool beat 10 men Tottenham 1-2 in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

The match held a huge significance for both teams who needed to make sure they got something after 90 minute.

There was a lot of pressure on Spurs as Liverpool did everything possible to make sure they kept on pressing for a goal.

The game resumed with more action from both teams who had different objectives. Alexander Isak broke the deadlock with a 56th minute goal.
Florian Writz provided the assist which made things 0-1 but it came at the expense of Isak getting an injury.
Frimpong setup Hugo Ekitike in the 66th minute which saw the Reds doubled their advantage to 0-2 as the match progressed.
Richarlison pulled a goal back in the 83rd minute which gave Spurs a lifeline despite them playing 1-2 with a player down.
Liverpool finished the match with a 1-2 victory against Tottenham to claim an important three points which puts Thomas Frank job in danger.
