Portugal destroyed Armenia 9-1 to book their qualifications for the FIFA World Cup 2026, MySportDab reports.
Both Joao Neves and Bruno Fernandes scored a hat-trick as they claimed a heavy victory without Cristiano Ronaldo.
First Half Report

Renato Veiga opened the goal scoring in the 7th minute before Sperstian pulled things back to level terms 1-1 in the 18th minute.
The flood gates was opened in the 28th minute after an incredible goal from Goncalo Ramos which made sure it was 2-1.
Another goal was scored in the 38th minute after Bruno Fernandes setup Joao Neves who made sure it was 3-1.
Joao Neves made it a brace for himself in the 41st minute before Bruno Fernandes made it 5-1 in the additional time from a penalty.
Second Half Report
Goncalo Ramos setup Bruno Fernandes who increased the scoreline to 6-1 in the 52nd minute as things progressed.
A goal from the penalty spot for Bruno Fernandes made sure it was 7-1 in the 72nd minute as the match became very embarrassing.

Joao Neves made it a hat-trick for himself in the 81st minute which made it 8-1 thanks to assist from Nelson Semedo.
Joao Felix setup Conceição in the additional time as Portugal finished off Armenia 9-1 in their World Cup qualifiers match which secured their spot.
