Newcastle United and Aston Villa have put themselves in front of making a move for Kobbie Mainoo, MySportDab reports.
The midfielder isn’t getting much playing time at Manchester United despite the club stopping his exit.
He wasn’t granted a chance to make a move elsewhere during the summer window despite his request to leave.
Napoli was the closest to almost making something happen before Manchester United had to block every possible exit.
However, there still remain strong interests from numerous clubs who are hopeful of making something happen.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed Newcastle United and Aston Villa are looking at making a January move for the player.

“Aston Villa and Newcastle United have both emerged as suitors for Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo ahead of the January transfer window.
“The Englishman has only played 203 minutes of football all season under Ruben Amorim.
A move remain in motion with the player already open to leaving Manchester United due to him not getting enough playing time under Ruben Amorim.
