Enzo Maresca have provided recent update concerning Liam Delap injury, MySportDab reports.
The Chelsea team are preparing for their next Champions League game will be against Ajax tomorrow.
Maresca gave some update during his press conference which was done earlier today. He went on to give more information concerning Delap.
Chelsea have been without their striker who was injury during the deadline period of summer transfer.
His injury saw a decision being made to recall Marc Guiu who is currently with the team but barely play much.
However, the Blues manager have confirmed some major updates concerning Delap which could be some renewed hopes.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirms the information which was made available by the Blues manager.

“Liam Delap is very close to returning. He’s not working with us yet, but he’s improving and getting close”.
This news is something positive as they are expected to possibly have the player return either by November or December which was said to be the date of his full return.
Liam Delap was crucial during the Club World Cup, but was injury early in the season which he was expected to play as the main striker alongside Joao Pedro.
