Chelsea are set to face another serious issues following the recent update concerning Cole Palmer, MySportDab reports.
The World Champions were without their key player before they headed for the international break for October.
Cole Palmer was expected to return for this weekend game, but the situation is now something more problematic.
Enzo Maresca had so much to say during his press conference ahead of Chelsea match against Nottingham Forest.
He was quick to address the situation on ground concerning Palmer who was expected to make an early return.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed Maresca comments on Palmer injury which isn’t looking good in any way.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Cole Palmer will be out for six more weeks”.
“The medical are not magicians. We hope six weeks are enough”.
“For sure, Cole will be okay and he doesn’t need surgery, absolutely”.
This recent development is something that Enzo Maresca will have to deal with as other player are ready to step up.
Chelsea have Joao Pedro and Facundo Buonanotte who could also play in the same position like they have previously done.
Cole Palmer injury is expected to last much longer than many expected for it to happen as he was removed against Manchester United.
