Mikel Merino scored a hat-trick as Spain thrashed Turkiye 0-6 in their World Cup qualifiers match, MySportDab reports.
Pedri scored a brace with one goal from Ferran Torres which all made it six for the European Champions.
First Half Report
It was three goals in 45 minutes for the European Champions who dominated the entire half against their opponent.
The opening goal came in the 6th minutes after a fine assist from Nico Williams which saw Barcelona Pedri made it 0-1 with a beautiful finish.
Another goal was scored by Mikel Merino in the 22nd minute which made it 0-2 with assist from Oyarzabal.
The game continued with Merino making it a brace for himself and 0-3 with another finish in additional time which was assisted by Pedri.
Second Half Report
The second half also produced more goals which was scored by the away side, just like they did in the first 45 minutes.
A 53rd minute goal from Ferran Torres ensured the scoreline became 0-4 with assist from Lamine Yamal as they carried on.
Lamine Yamal was instrumental again with another assist for Mikel Merino 57th minute goal which was able to make it 0-5 and a hat-trick.
The game became 0-6 with a goal from Pedri in the 62nd minutes after an assist from Oyarzabal as they kept on pushing for more.
However, Turkiye had to deploy more than enough until the game ended with Spain claiming a 0-6 victory after 90 minute.
