Victor Boniface have cleared the air concerning his failed move to AC Milan before joining Werder Bremen, MySportDab reports.
The Super Eagles striker was subject to a lot of narratives after it was confirmed that he failed his medical.
Victor Boniface exit from Bayer Leverkusen was something which was expected to happen earlier when the Italian club came knocking.
An agreement was reached between both teams who held talks that didn’t take too much of their time.
A fee was agreed that the player would sign on loan before making the move permanent for a certain amount.
However, things did not work out as the move collapsed after medicals which those at Milan wasn’t pleased.
Victor Boniface had to return to Bayer Leverkusen while planning on his next move before Werder Bremen came knocking.
According to reports, the striker confirmed the main reason behind the whole situation which he claimed wasn’t on him.

“The Milan deal not going through, that’s not on me. They decided not to go through with. I have a strong mentality.
“If the deal was meant to happen, it’s meant to happen. If it wasn’t meant to happen, I move on to the next thing…”
“Whatever you want to believe on the media, you can believe them, that’s not on me… I don’t care. If my body is not 100%, I will be in the hospital. I will not be here talking to you.”
Victor Boniface already signed a deal with Werder Bremen on loan with an option to make things permanent.
