Marc Bernal have signed a new contract that will keep him at Barcelona for a very long time, MySportDab reports.
The youngster have been given a new contract which comes with a massive release clause making him unable to leave.
The decision comes after long talks with the club and player over keeping him beyond his current contract duration.
Barcelona did make the move to ensure they block any future approach for the player who they want to keep with them.
The club are also working on other players who they want to keep with the club as various top teams are already eyeing a move.

An official announcement and confirmation was made today with Barcelona tying down the player until 2029.
Barcelona also included a release clause of €500 million which is an indicator that no club will be able to make an approach.
The player have proven his worth to the club who have also return the favor by penning a new contract until 2029.
Marc Bernal will continue with Barcelona as they look at him as part of their plans moving forward with Hansi Flick for the current season and also more years to come.
