Hugo Ekitike was on target as Liverpool claimed a 2-1 victory against Everton in their Merseyside derby, MySportDab reports.
Arne Slot side maintained their winning streak with yet another wonderful victory which put them top of Premier League.
First Half Report
It was all about the Premier League Champions dominating the first 45 minutes of action which saw them scoring twice.
Mohamed Salah provided an assist for Ryan Gravenberch who was able to make it count in the 10th minute as the Premier League Champions took a 1-0 lead.
The game pushed on with the visitors pushing back but their efforts amounted to nothing reasonable against a solid defensive side.
A goal from Hugo Ekitike in the 29th minute made sure the scoreline became 2-0 with a lot more of time to play between both teams.
The first half ended with the 2-0 scoreline which saw Ryan Gravenberch making an assist for a goal that was scored by Ekitike.
Second Half Report
The remaining 45 minutes saw Everton doing something of their own while making sure they held on well defensively.
Ndaiye made himself available by providing an assist which was wonderfully finished by Gueye to ensure things became 2-1.
The goal came in the 58th minutes which was how things stayed until 90 minute which saw Liverpool claimed a 2-1 victory.
