Aston Villa have signed Jadon Sancho from Manchester United in the final hours of the summer transfer window, MySportDab reports.
Sancho dabbled in an uncertain future at Man United after being axed out of the United squad by Ruben Amorim since last season.
He spent the entirety of last campaign on loan with Chelsea and was in talks for a permanent contract with the Blues after his loan spell. However, the deal fail through as both parties couldn’t reach agreement on wage terms.
Serie A giants Roma also moved for a permanent deal for the English winger, brokering terms with Man United, but couldn’t see through the deal due to disagreement over his proposed wages.
Meanwhile, it was understood Man United had issued an ultimatum to his camp to sort out his future away from the club or risk having the player rot on the bench for next season.
As the transfer window winds down in a few hours, Sancho has finally secure a breakthrough transfer from the Old Trafford outfit.
United’s Premier League rivals Aston Villa have reportedly agreed terms with United to sign the player.
Details of the report as revealed by Fabrizio Romano shows Sancho will join the Aston-based club on on loan for the rest of the season.
It is the third season in row that Sancho will be plying his trade away from Man United.
He is the fourth Man United first-team player to leave the club this summer after Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho.
