Manchester United have signed Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, MySportDab reports.

According to Fabrizio Romano, United have finally reached agreement in principle with RB Leipzig for the player.

“Benjamin Šeško to Manchester United, here we go! Agreement club to club reached with RB Leipzig for €76.5m plus €8.5m add-ons.

Šeško agreed terms until 2030. Šeško made clear on Tuesday that he wanted #MUFC, deal now reality,” Fabrizio Romano reports.

Sesko is expected to travel to the UK for his Man United medical and signing of contract. He has reportedly agreed to a five-year contract till 2030 and is expected to play a key role in Ruben Amorim’s emerging Man United squad.

United saw off the competition from Newcastle to secure the services of the player despite submitting €5m less than the Magpies’ offer.

Sesko is understood to have played a big role in the transfer as he preferred Manchester United to the Magpies.

He is Ruben Amorim and Man United’s third attacking signing this summer after Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

The 22-year-old scored 13 league goals plus five assists in 13 appearances for RB Leipzig last season and is renowned for his shooting and attacking prowess.

Elsewhere, Sesko is not likely to be United’s last signing before the close of the transfer window. At the time of filing this report, close sources have revealed the club have approached Brighton to begin talks for the services of young top-rated midfielder Carlos Baleba.

Baleba is reportedly open to the big move, but Brighton are reluctant to sell although a tempting offer is likely to force their hand.
