Arsenal are looking at going big once again in this summer window with them making approach for Piero Hincapié, MySportDab reports.
The London club were expected to be done with new signings after making a move for Eberechi Eze who joined from Crystal Palace.
They are now looking at another opportunity which just presented itself with few days left to end the window.
Piero Hincapié recently made his intention clear on leaving Bayer Leverkusen despite turning back interest earlier on.
The defender was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea who recently lost Levi Colwill to an injury that will keep him out for a while.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed Arsenal have made an approach as they look to sign the defender.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Arsenal also make official approach to Bayer Leverkusen for Piero Hincapié after player’s decision to leave.
“No official bid yet from Arsenal as deal depends on Kiwior exit (Porto on it) and/or Zinchenko future.
“Tottenham sent loan/obligation bid to Bayer for Hincapié.
Nothing is advance for now as any deal looks likely impossible based on the player value in the market and number of days left in the transfer window this summer.
