After Bayern Munich signed Luis Diaz for £72m, Liverpool are set to go all out for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak. It is understood the Premier League champions are ready to bid in excess of £100m for the player.

Isak has asked to Newcastle United and is dropped from the team’s preseason squad while an official bid is expected from Liverpool this week.

Al-Nassr have completed the signing of out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Joao Felix from the Blues on a two-year contract while Bayern Munich have sealed a deal with Liverpool for Luis Diaz.

Real Madrid transfer updates

Real Madrid have resolved to sell Vinicius Jr next summer if he presses on his demand for the same wage offer as the club’s highest-paid player Kylian Mbappe.

The Brazilian forward wants Real Madrid to match his wage with that of Mbappe as a condition to sign a new contract.

Los Blancos are also set to lower their asking price for Rodrygo as his imminent exit looms large.

Also, David Alaba has refused Los Blancos’ proposal to terminate his contract and his expected to see out his deal through summer 2026 when it will expire.

Ajax dropped Jorrel Hato from their friendly squad against Como after he asked to leave for Chelsea.
