Newcastle United are now looking at making a move happen for Aaron Ramsdale this summer, MySportDab reports.
The former Arsenal number one is now looking at making a return to playing with another big team this summer.
He is currently Southampton goalkeeper after leaving Arsenal following David Raya taking over the number one position.
Newcastle United are keen on making the move happen after missing out on James Trafford who will join Manchester City.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed an approach has been made to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Southampton.

“High loan fee, salary covered and buy option clause. Southampton open to accepting but want higher fee.

Talks will move forward immediately as the goalkeeper have given the greenlight for advance talk to begin.
The move isn’t expected to delay as no other teams are looking at making a surprise move on the English goalkeeper this summer.
Aaron Ramsdale is keen and ready to make a return to top flight football after getting relegated with Southampton who had a very bad season in the Premier League.
