Marcus Rashford has made a shock move after asking to leave Manchester United this summer, MySportDab reports.
The homegrown United forward is among top names expected to leave Man United this summer alongside Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho.
All the aforementioned players have called to leave the club this summer with close sources revealing they have submitted their transfer requests.
They all spent last season on loan to different clubs and are ready for a permanent exit from the club this summer having fallen down the pecking order.
Meanwhile, preparations for next campaign is gathering momentum with some United players returning back to the team.
Nevertheless, amidst the exit row and the tensed relationship with Ruben Amorim, Rashford was not expected back to the team, especially in the wake of the shocking move to assign his number 10 shirt to new signing from Wolves Matheus Cunha.
However, the England international hugged the headlines as he chose to return to the team and report for training.
According to the Athletic, he linked up with his teammates on Monday and Tuesday despite being given additional time off, including four others the team to find a new club.
Notably, this shock move by the player is not likely to alter his dwindling fortunes at Manchester United under Amorim as he is still expected to leave.
We reported earlier Barcelona are in talks to sign him this summer, but want a loan option with an option to buy.
Rashford spent the remainder of last season on loan at Aston Villa and is en-route to leaving the Old Trafford outfit either on a permanent on loan transfer this summer.
