The move for Viktor Gyökeres have been gaining new twist after Manchester United advanced in getting a done deal, MySportDab reports.
Arsenal have been the side pushing in the past few weeks trying to reach an agreement with Sporting Lisbon who are holding out for more pay.
There is an agreement on the table between the player and the London club who are still finding it hard with Sporting.
The deal has been complicated for a while as all parties involved haven’t been able to come to a solution.
Meanwhile, the player have refused to return to training after calling out the Portuguese club for going back on their words.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed Manchester United involvement in the deal in recent days.
