Luke Shaw is set to leave Manchester United after over a decade with the club, MySportDab reports.
The renowned English left-back is reportedly open to taking up a new challenge away from Old Trafford following his dwindling fortunes at the club.
His decision has been linked to the list of names United have added to the left-back role in recent windows to bolster the squad.
The Red Devils signed Diego Leon and have also added Patrick Dorgu to their left-back options. Shaw, who managed just seven Premier League appearances last season due to his niggling injury crisis, will face a tall ask contending for a starting role with these young guns.
While he could be considered favourite to beat the competition due to his experience, his major disadvantage is the frequent injury blows that keep him off the field.
Also, United new manager Ruben Amorim has left no stone untouched in driving home his decision to rely more on younger and energetic players to execute his high-tempo press.
Hence, Shaw has fallen out of favour and is ready to call an end to his 11-year stint with the club for a new chapter despite having two years left on his deal.
According to The Sun, Saudi clubs are interested in his services and are ready to make a move to sign him. However, it is yet unclear whether he will leave this summer or not.
Shaw has made 193 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, scoring three goals since joining from Southampton in 2014
He last played for the Red Devils in the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur, deputizing as a center-back.
