Arsenal have unveiled new signing Viktor Gyökeres who completes his move from Sporting Lisbon, MySportDab reports.
The negotiation between both club took a long time as Sporting president held back on a couple of times.
The deal could have favored Manchester United, but the player was quick to reject any offer that was made to him.
His clear decision was Arsenal and no other team stood any chance of making their move on the player.
An agreement was reached and medical followed through immediately as Arsenal needed the player to join them in preseason.
The Premier League side officially unveiled and announced the player today after signing a long term contract.

“I just felt that Arsenal was the right club for me”.
“What I heard from Mikel and Andrea when I was speaking with them, and just what I’ve seen in the past years, how they’ve been playing football. That made me choose Arsenal”.
The striker joined on a five-year deal which cost the London club €63.5m+€10m that will be paid to Sporting Lisbon.
Viktor Gyökeres will take on the number 14 shirt after making the request immediately his contract was signed with the club.
