Manchester United unveils their first summer signing Matheus Cunha under Ruben Amorim who join from Wolves, MySportDab reports.
This move has been one of the biggest those at Old Trafford have been working on before the season came to an end.
They have held several talks both with Wolves and the player who gave the greenlight immediately to get things done.
The transfer fee package delayed the whole move as the Old Trafford club wanted to make sure they get things right to avoid issues.
Manchester United have confirmed new signing Matheus Cunha who sign a 5 year deal plus options until June 2031.
The total package cost around £62.5 million which will be paid to Wolves after an agreement was reached.
Here Is What Cunha Said:
“It is hard to put into words my feelings about becoming a Manchester United player.
“Ever since I was a child in Brazil watching Premier League games on TV at my grandmother’s house, United was my favourite English team and I dreamed of wearing the red shirt.
“I want to thank my family and everyone who has helped me make that dream a reality.
“I can’t wait for the start of pre-season to get to know my team-mates and prepare for the season ahead.
“All my focus is now on working hard to become a valuable part of the team, and helping get this club back to the top.”
There are reports that Matheus Cunha will wear the number 10 shirt at Manchester United after his unveiling.
