Manchester City have unveiled new signing Marcus Bettinelli who joins from Chelsea, MySportDab reports.
The goalkeeper move was one which both parties didn’t have to push long concerning an agreement after talk commenced.
City recently saw Scott Carson leave the club, and they took a decision to go after the Chelsea 3rd goalkeeper.
It was a fast deal which an agreement was reached immediately talks between both teams started for an undisclosed fee.
City who recently unveiled some new signings, confirmed their new goalkeeper has joined them ahead of the club world cup.
Here Is What Bettinelli Said:
“It’s an honour to sign for City. “I have admired from afar what this Club have achieved since Pep Guardiola arrived and now I am excited to be a part of building on that success.
“I can’t wait to work with Guardiola, Xabi Mancisidor and the excellent goalkeepers already here and see their methods up close.
“Hopefully I can contribute in training, the dressing room and on the pitch as we look to win more silverware over the next year.”
Marcus Bettinelli is expected to be the 3rd choice goalkeeper to replace Scott Carson who recently left the position open after six years.
