Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a clutch performance on Friday night, scoring 15 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 111-104 comeback win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, tying the series at 2-2, MySportDab Reports.

Frustrated for much of the night by Indiana’s suffocating defense, the league MVP came alive late, drilling a three-pointer and a pull-up jumper to give Oklahoma City their first lead since the first half with 2:23 left. He then iced the game with six free throws in the final 44 seconds.

“It’s a dog fight,” Gilgeous-Alexander said postgame. “Every time you step on the floor, they make you work.”

Jalen Williams contributed 27 points, while Chet Holmgren recorded a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Alex Caruso provided a spark off the bench with 20 points.

Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals. Tyrese Haliburton added 18 points, and Obi Toppin scored 17 off the bench.

The Pacers held a 10-point lead late in the third quarter after a Toppin dunk, but the Thunder’s defense stepped up in the final period, preventing Indiana from building a 3-1 series lead.

“It’s a huge difference going back 2-2 instead of 3-1,” said Gilgeous-Alexander. “We played with desperation, and that’s why we won.”

Game 5 shifts back to Oklahoma City on Monday, where the Thunder will aim to carry their momentum forward.

The game also saw rising tensions, with multiple flagrant and technical fouls, including confrontations involving Toppin, Caruso, and Hartenstein, adding to the intensity of a fiercely competitive series.
