Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered another stellar performance with 34 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 123-107 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday, tying the series at 1-1, MySportDab Reports.

After a heartbreaking last-second loss in Game 1, Oklahoma City responded in emphatic fashion on their home court.

The top seeds showcased a well-rounded offensive display, with five players scoring in double figures and a much-improved defensive effort that stifled Indiana’s rhythm.

Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA’s Most Valuable Player, followed up his 38-point outing from Game 1 with another dominant display.

He was ably supported by Alex Caruso, who came off the bench to score 20 points, including four three-pointers. Aaron Wiggins added 18 points, knocking down five of eight shots from beyond the arc.

Defensively, the Thunder stepped up, holding Indiana’s All-Star Tyrese Haliburton to 17 points and forcing him into five turnovers. The Pacers, known for their up-tempo offense, struggled to find a consistent rhythm throughout the game.

“We just know with them, that’s where it starts — they’re a high-powered offense,” Gilgeous-Alexander said postgame. “If you don’t get stops, they’ll run you off the floor.”

Reflecting on their bounce-back win, Gilgeous-Alexander added: “Basketball is a game of ups and downs. It’s about the team that stays level-headed and grows through those experiences.”

The series now shifts to Indiana for Game 3, with momentum back in Oklahoma City’s corner.
