Cristiano Ronaldo’s lucrative new contract details with Al-Nassr has been revealed, MySportDab reports.

We reported earlier that the Portuguese footballing sensation has penned down a new two-year contract with the club till 2027.

The new deal will see him through to the 2026 World Cup with Portugal in the USA and then one more full season of club action with the Knights of Riyadh.

Apart from the duration of the contract that was made public, other details of the contract has been revealed.

And as expected, Al-Nassr have broken the bank to tie iconic soccer star to the new deal. Prior to this new deal, Ronaldo remained the best-paid sports athlete in the world with a staggering €200m annual wages.

Now, the new offer has extended his financial ceiling further. According to Saudi outlets, Ronaldo’s new wages as it stands is €400million per year. This works out at an insane €33.34million per month,  €7.6million per week, and €1.1million per day.

Additionally, there are other perks to the offer as revealed by The Sun. This includes a 15% ownership of Al-Nassr amounting to £33m, £24.5m signing bonus, 20% percent increase in goals bonus amounting to £80,000 per goal, £40,000 per assist.

Other mouthwatering incentives include a £8m bonus if Al-Nassr win the league, £4m if he becomes the top scorer, £6.5million if he led the team to qualify for AFC Champions League.

There are also allowances for his domestic staffs cutting across housekeepers, cooks, gardeners, and security, including allowances for his travels and sponsorship deals.

Notably, Al-Nassr’s offer could be consider way above the benchmarks but Ronaldo has been not just a standout performer for Al-Nassr but a big breakthrough for Saudi football in their attempt to modernize the sports.

Elite footballers from Europe and across the globe have been attracted to the Saudi football project due to Ronaldo’s influence.

Hence, the decision to go beyond the normal to keep him for two more years. Meanwhile, his next steps are still unclear when the new offer expires bur he will now be focused on leading Al-Nassr to the league title next season.
