Xabi Alonso has officially become Real Madrid manager after his unveiling today at the Bernabue, MySportDab reports.
The Spanish coach has been exceptional since taking over at Bayer Leverkusen before earning his dream move.
He was once a player for Real Madrid during his active days where he went on to win numerous titles before leaving.
He has a long history with the Spanish club which is one of his home among numerous clubs he played for in his career.
The move to became manager for the La Liga side was expected after winning the German Bundesliga title with Bayer Leverkusen.
He was officially unveiled today as the new manager of the club after officially signing his contract.
