The situation have been cleared out and Real Madrid made the official announcement of the defender.
He sign a contract which will run until June 2031 before any other decision will be made either during his deal or the end.
The La Liga club have also included a £1B release clause to his contract which makes it impossible for any exit plan.
There is also an understanding that Real Madrid will pay Liverpool €10 million to have the defender before the club world cup.
The Spanish club will cover the player salary from June to July which is within the duration of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will be officially unveiled during the week as he is expected to travel with his teammates for the club world cup.
