Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has broken silence on his exit plan from the club, MySportDab reports.

Guardiola has turned Manchester City from an average Premier League club to a giant in the English top flight and Europe.

He has won six Premier League titles, including four in a row – a feat that has never been attained by any other manager in the English elite division.

Also in his Man City trophy room is the coveted UEFA Champions League – the club’s first European title since its founding.

By all ramifications, the Spaniard has established himself as one of the best, if not the best manager, in football history.

Will we see him continue in the dugout when he call time on his spell with Manchester City? This has been the question of football lovers who wouldn’t want to miss the nuances and intrigues of Guardiola’s presence in the dugout.

From his touchline historionics to his signature possessive and attacking style, Guardiola has won the bragging right among football lovers for nearly revolutionizing the game.

Now, all these could be missed soon as he prepares to exit the reins as manager. Speaking before Man City’s 1-0 win over Wolves in the Premier League on Friday night, Guardiola hinted his time in the dugout is winding down fast.

According to him, he may not necessarily retire soon but will definitely take a break after his Man City spell.

“I didn’t say I’m leaving now or at the end of the season”.

“I’m saying when I finish my time here, I don’t know in one, two, three, four, five, six years… I will take a break! I won’t retire but I will take a break, for sure,” he said.

Guardiola assumed the dugout as City boss in 2016 and will clock a decade at the Etihad outfit in 2026 when his current contract expires.

However, it is yet unclear whether he will renew terms for a new deal before the expiration of the current contract.
