Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen are in the final process of completing the deal for Xabi Alonso, MySportDab reports.
Movements and talks have been going on in the last few weeks between both clubs on concluding a deal.
The Spanish club has decided to let go of Carlo Ancelotti who already has an agreement with Brazil’s national team.
All deals have been put on hold for a while with a few details that need to be sorted out before anything else can move forward.
Things are now pushing with Real Madrid already looking to finalize a deal for a new manager which would allow their current coach leave.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the recent update coming through with the Xabi Alonso move.

“Xabi Alonso, prepared to say yes to Real Madrid and then complete his move as soon as the exit process with Ancelotti will be finalised.
“Bayer are accelerating the process to find a new head coach with talks to progress as they’re now expecting Xabi to leave.
An agreement is imminent to finalised everything between both clubs who want it done before the season come to an end to enable Real Madrid focus on the club world cup.
