Permanent Deal for Sancho? Chelsea’s Decision CONFIRMED

Jadon Sancho’s future at Chelsea has been confirmed as the Man United loanee drew close to the end of his loan spell with the Blues, MySportDab reports.

United loaned out Sancho to Chelsea in the final hours of last summer’s transfer window after he fell off the club’s pecking order.

Notably, the England international has never had a training session under new Man United boss Ruben Amorim and is understood to be out of the Portuguese’s plans for the Red Devils.

His loan contract with Chelsea involved a buy-out clause worth £25million, but only triggerable if Chelsea finish above 14th on the Premier League table.

Chelsea are mathematically safe from dropping below the 14th place in the standings with two matches left in the season and it was thought they may likely trigger the buy-out clause for Sancho.

Now, according to The Mirror, the Blues aren’t ready to settle for a permanent deal for Sancho and have decided to part ways with the player when his loan contract expires.

This implies they will have to pay a £5million penalty to Man United as agreed on the loan terms before letting Sancho go.

The report adds the London club are ready to foot this bill notwithstanding since they don’t want to keep the player.

Sancho had a decent start with the Blues. He has three goals plus four assists in 30 Premier League appearances but has fallen off the pecking order lately.

As things stand, he is expected back at United at the end of the season and has been linked to a move to Bayer Leverkusen and his former club Borussia Dortmund.
