Bruno Fernandes has broken his silence with a cryptic social media post amid reports linking him to a move to Saudi Arabia, MySportDab reports.
Al-Hilal are on the trail of the Man United captain and reports of the Portuguese’s possible switch to the Saudi giants have been splashing the headlines.
Al-Hilal have offered a lucrative three-year contract with an estimated weekly wage of £700,000 to the player.
Additionally, the Blue Waves are also ready to pay as much as £100million to United for his services. With a wage offer of almost three times his Man United’s and a tempting transfer fee to the club, Bruno’s future is finely poised on the balance.
Meanwhile, the speculations has been ramped up on whether he will accept the offer or continue his career with the Red Devils.
Amid the conjectures, the Portuguese has broken his silence with a cryptic social media post definitely conveying his stance on Al-Hilal’s interest.
A translated text of this post which he uploaded on his IG story reads;
“Whatever happens, happens for a reason. Trust the process.”
While not directly addressing his future in the post, the text apparently conveys his stance on transfer proceedings that have enshrouded his career lately.
Interestingly, it resonates with his earlier take on his Man United future where he revealed that his Old Trafford future is not in his hands, but with the owners of the club.
Bruno still has two years left on his contract with United. However, he is more likely to leave this summer as things stands.
We reported earlier his agent Miguel Pinho had traveled to Saudi Arabia to engage in talks with Al-Hilal for the player following their lucrative offer.
Also, according to latest reports, Man United’s owners are open to cashing in on Al-Hilal’s £100million offer for the Portuguese’s services given the club’s dwindling financial fortunes.
However, they have left the ball in his court, ready to sanction the sale if he agrees personal terms with Al-Hilal although new manager Ruben Amorim isn’t consenting to the move.
