Bayer Leverkusen have officially unveiled Erik Ten Hag as their new manager after Xabi Alonso departure, MySportDab reports.
The former Manchester United boss have completed the move which will see him commence work immediately.
His move to German has been long awaited after being linked with a number of teams including Borussia Dortmund.
The Netherlands coach have been weighing his options with several offers coming to him earlier which didn’t push through.
The talk with Leverkusen commenced at same time Ajax made enquires on getting him back to their team.
He has now decided to move to Germany where he has been unveiled today as the new manager of the club.
His contract is a short one which will run until 2027 before any further decision would be taken with his future.

“The club offers excellent conditions, the talks with those responsible have impressed me very much”.
This move is expected to help the manager rebuild his career which took a bad hit under Manchester United.
The new manager will immediately commence his work with the season over and player expected to rest before preseason.
Erik Ten Hag has a lot to do as he will be tasked to reclaimed the German Bundesliga title from Bayern Munich who are the current holders under Vincent Kompany leadership.
