Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has broken his silence on Marcus Rashford’s return from Aston Villa, MySportDab reports.
Rashford had to spend the second half of this season on loan away from United following his fallout with the new Man United boss.
The Red Devils sanctioned the loan deal late in the January transfer window and it appears, the player has turned a corner after his blighted fortunes at Old Trafford under the Portuguese boss.
He had played a crucial role in Aston Villa’s run to the Champions League quarter-final, providing three assists in his four appearances in the competition.
On the domestic scene, the England international seemed to have reignited his spark, scoring two goals plus two assists in 10 Premier League appearances with the Villans.
Notably, his stellar shift with the Aston-based outfit has raised speculations on his future. For some Man United fans, the 27-year-old could be a big addition to the United squad and should be allowed back in the team at the expiration of his loan tenure.
Meanwhile, he has attracted interest from top clubs in Europe following his impressive outing with Unai Emery’s side.
Amidst uncertainties on Rashford’s next stop after the loan spell at Villa, Amorim has broken his silence, revealing his and the club’s stance.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Amorim confirmed Rashford will return to the club, including other players on loan, and then a decision will be made on their future.
He also commended the player for his brilliant outing with Aston Villa, adding he has met expectations.

“The talent of Rashford, Antony… we are really happy because if you put players on loan you want them to perform,” he said.
While Amorim is gesticulating towards bringing back Rashford to Man United, sources close to the player reveal he is eyeing a new chapter away from the boyhood club.
