The Premier League have been given an additional Champions League spot which makes it five teams to qualify direct next season, MySportDab reports.
The additional spot came after Arsenal claimed a massive 3-0 victory against Real Madrid last night at the Emirates Stadium.
There are currently two Premier League teams still left in the Champions League this season after Liverpool and Manchester City crashed out.
Aston Villa will be taking on Paris Saint Germain tonight in what could be another cagey encounter between both teams.
The English teams will be happy to see themselves get another spot meaning those that finished from first to fifth qualify for next season tournament.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the situation which will be an opportunity for an English side to win the UCL title.
