Carlo Ancelotti has made a u-turn on his decision to become Brazil’s new manager, MySportDab reports.

The Real Madrid boss, who is set to leave the club as the end of the season, was strongly linked to Brazil’s national team managerial role.

Officials of the Brazil Football Federation reportedly arrived in Spain for talks with the Italian tactician. It is understood the two parties had reached an agreement on salary and duration of the contract.

However, they were yet to thrash out the exact time Ancelotti should resume in the dugout with the Selecao.

Now, according to Marca, this uncertainty over the actual resumption date has created a chasm between the two parties, leading Ancelotti to reject the offer.

Details of the report reveal Brazil football officials want Ancelotti to resume as early as June and take charge of the team’s next World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have not yet settled on their exit plans for Ancelotti. Recall while Los Blancos have accepted Ancelotti’s end-of-the-season exit, they had resolved to send off the Italian tactician properly with elaborate plans.

Due to this disparities and uncertainties over when Ancelotti will leave Real Madrid dugout and Brazil’s insistence that he must resume in June, Ancelotti has reportedly informed the country’s president Ednaldo Rodrigues that he is no longer interested in the offer.

He has now been linked to a more lucrative offer in Saudi Arabia as he prepares to leave Real Madrid. Brazil are now set to scour for other options to take over the job.
