Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart carried the short-handed New York Knicks to their ninth consecutive victory, defeating the Utah Jazz 119-103 on Wednesday, MySportDab Reports.

With Jalen Brunson sidelined due to calf tightness and Miles McBride also unavailable, Towns and Hart stepped up. Towns delivered a dominant performance with 31 points and 21 rebounds, while Hart notched his second consecutive triple-double with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists. Mikal Bridges added 27 points for the Knicks, who improved their record to 24-10.

“Over the course of a season, you need everybody,” said Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau. “When you prioritize winning and commit to the team, good things happen.”

Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson each scored 25 points for the Jazz, but Utah’s fifth straight loss highlighted their ongoing struggles.

Pistons Overcome Magic but Lose Ivey
In Detroit, the Pistons secured a 105-95 win over the Orlando Magic despite a devastating injury to Jaden Ivey. The guard collided with Orlando’s Cole Anthony in the fourth quarter, suffering what appeared to be a severe leg injury. He was stretchered off the court after scoring a game-high 22 points.

“To see something like that is devastating,” said Tobias Harris. “It’s a big win, but our thoughts are with Jaden.”

Cade Cunningham contributed 19 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists, while Jalen Duren added 18 points and 11 rebounds for Detroit.

Raptors Snap Losing Streak Against Nets
The Toronto Raptors ended their 11-game skid with a 130-113 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Scottie Barnes led the way with 33 points and 13 rebounds, while Immanuel Quickley, returning from injury, contributed 21 points and 15 assists.

Cameron Johnson scored 24 points for Brooklyn, and D’Angelo Russell added 22 off the bench in his debut after being traded from the Lakers.

Around the League

Jordan Poole returned from injury to score 30 points, leading the Washington Wizards to a 125-107 win over the Chicago Bulls. The Miami Heat defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 119-108 behind Tyler Herro’s 32 points and Bam Adebayo’s near triple-double.

The Pelicans played with heavy hearts following a tragic incident in New Orleans, where a suspected terror attack left at least 15 dead.
