Chelsea women thrashed Man United 0-6 to clinch the Barclays WSL title for another season making it 5th in a row, MySportDab reports.

The season has been closely contested between the Blues and Manchester City whose goal difference settled the whole thing.

A huge victory at Old Trafford made sure the Blues were crowned Champions of the Women’s Super League after 90 minutes.

It was a good start to the game which saw Mayra Ramirez making it count in the 2nd minutes after a good assist from Guro Reiten to make things 0-1.

Chelsea continued dominance and did well enough to keep themselves in the match as they added another through Johanna Rytting Kaneryd in the 8th minutes to make it 0-2.

Man United Women couldn’t do much from their end as things were out of their control which saw them conceding again in the 44th minutes through Sjoeke Nuesken to make it 0-3.

Mayra Ramirez scored in the additional time of the first half after linking up with Johanna Rytting Kaneryd which made things between them 0-4.

Chelsea were already done and dusted as they headed for the first half with a 0-4 lead against Man United after 45 minutes of action between them.

They both came into the remaining half with nothing left to inspire the home side who kept on conceding goals without control.

Man United conceded another goal through Melanie Leupolz in the 47th minutes of the game which assist was delivered by Guro Reiten who ensured things became 0-5.

Chelsea showed no chance of slowing down as they bagged another goal which came in the 85th minutes through Fran Kirby making sure things became 0-6.

It was a well executed game as Chelsea clinched the Barclays WSL after smashing Man United 0-6 while Manchester City finished with a 1-2 victory against Aston Villa in the other match.
