AFCON 2023: Equatorial Guinea 4-2 Guinea-Bissau, Emilio Nsue Bag HATTRICK! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Emilio Nsue scored the first AFCON hat trick after Equatorial Guinea thrashed Guinea-Bissau 4-2, MySportDab reports.

It was a one side game which put group open as Ivory Coast and Nigeria play later on for the day for a chance of pushing themselves up.

The match was entertaining with it providing enough goals which both sides had something happening before the end of things.

It was an eventful second round of games which both teams came in prepared and looking to see what they could make happen.

Equatorial Guinea were the better of both teams going forward until they took the lead through a goal from Emilio Nsue to make it 1-0 in the 21st minutes.

Guinea-Bissau leveled things after forcing an own-goal from Esteban Orozco Fernandez which saw the scoreline turned 1-1 between them.

It was cagey between affair between both teams as they both went inside for the break with the scoreline staying 1-1 in what was entertaining.

The second half changed the whole atmosphere as it was a one sided affair all through which more goals came in before it ended.

Guinea-Bissau conceded a goal in the 46th minutes which saw scored by Josete Miranda ensuring things became 2-1 as the pushed on.

Equatorial Guinea increased their lead further with an outrageous goal from Emilio Nsue which made it 3-1 and a brace for him in the 51st minutes.

He quickly made it a hat trick with another goal scored in the 61st minutes which ensured it was 4-1 and Emilio Nsue making himself the lead scorer for AFCON 2023.

Ze Turbo pulled one goal back in the additional time which made things between both teams become 4-2 as they carried on.

Equatorial Guinea finished off the match with a 4-2 victory against Guinea-Bissau which put them four points on top of the group A with Ivory Coast and Nigeria to play later.
