AFCON 2023: Egypt 2-2 Ghana, Mohammed Kudus Net BRACE! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Mohammed Kudus scored a brace as Ghana held Egypt to a 2-2 draw in their AFCON 2023 match, MySportDab reports.

It was a close call for both teams who had their moments and were able to make them count going forward.

The match saw both teams settling for one points each in their second match played at the ongoing tournament in Ivory Coast.

The game started with a lot of pace coming from both ends in what was a brilliant one in terms of going forward and defending.

Egypt came in prepared after narrowly escaping from draw against Mozambique in their opening game which a late penalty salvaged one point for them.

Ghana were horrible in their opening game as they couldn’t make anything happen against Cape Verde who made light work of them by beating them 1-0.

The game carried on until a stunner from Mohammed Kudus made things 0-1 in the additional time of 45 minutes which they both pushed on.

Ghana went inside for the break with the advantage of a late goal which left things a 0-1 against Egypt who had their moments but failed to make them count.

A lot came to play in the second half which proved to be more entertaining as both teams had something to celebrate with their fans.

Egypt leveled things 1-1 in the 69th minutes after some clever play saw Omar Marmoush smashing one in from a wonderful position.

It was a close one as Ghana restored back their lead in the 71st minutes as West Ham United player Mohammed Kudus made it his brace and scoreline 1-2.

It was far from over Mostafa Mohamed was able to convert the opportunity presented to him in the 74th minutes making sure things became 2-2 between them.

Ghana were able to hold Egypt to a 2-2 draw which was a tough one from both ends as they did everything possible to try winning the game which did not happen.
