Manchester United have been dealt a fresh injury blow ahead of their next Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the weekend, MySportDab reports.

It hasn’t been an easy ride for the Red Devils so far with a number of high-profile first team players facing recurrent injury crisis.

Ahead of the game against Bournemouth, the club have confirmed fresh injury blow at the defense.

Victor Lindelof has been reportedly ruled out of the match against Bournemouth due to injury.

There are yet no clarifications on the nature of the injury and his estimated return timeline but it has been established he will miss the game against Bournemouth.

Lindelof started the 2-1 win against Chelsea but was subbed off after half time with Sergio Reguilon coming on in his place.

The 29-year-old Swedish defender has now added to United’s piling injury crisis with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, and Casemiro on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, United have equally receive a double injury boost ahead of the clash against Bournemouth.

Amad Diallo is back to training after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Also returning from injury is summer signing from Chelsea Mason Mount. Mount is reportedly back to training as well but has been training individually to return to full fitness.

As per Manchester Evening News, Mount could be available for selection at the weekend but Amad Diallo will be given more time to return to full fitness and will not be available for the clash.

Elsewhere, Raphael Varane who missed the Chelsea game due to a back injury will be available for selection in the game but will face competition as usual from Erik ten Hag’s other defensive options.

Varane has lost his starting berth at Manchester United, making just one appearance for the club in the last 12 games.

The French footballer will hope to beat the competition and regain his starting berth at the club soon.

Erik ten Hag will hope to continue in winning ways when he takes on Bournemouth in the crucial Premier League tie which could define United’s top four chances.
