No English team has been represented in the playoffs draw for 2023/24 Europa Conference League, MySportDab reports.
Apart from Manchester United and Newcastle United who finished bottom of their Champions League group crashing out of all European competitions this season, all other English teams book their qualification to the round of 16 of the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League.
Hence, they are not represented in the knockout playoffs of the third-tier of the European competition
Sharing the same format as the Europa League, all third-placed teams in Europa League drops to the knockout playoffs of Conference League. They are seeded against the runners-up in the Conference League group stages.
The winners of the playoffs will be seeded for a quarter-final clash with the group winners of the European third-tier.
