In a recent announcement from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), participating clubs in the forthcoming Federation Cup will be required to pay registration fees to compete in this prestigious football competition, MySportDab reports.
The NFF has set the registration fees at One hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000) for the men’s teams and One hundred thousand naira (N100,000) for the women’s teams, underscoring their commitment to the development of both men’s and women’s football.
The NFF’s decision to introduce these registration fees is seen as a step towards ensuring the sustainability and quality of the Federation Cup.
These fees will help support and enhance the overall organization of the tournament, allowing clubs to participate in one of Nigeria’s oldest and most respected football competitions.
Additionally, the NFF has emphasized the importance of timely registration. Clubs registering late will incur higher fees, with late registration fees set at Fifty thousand naira for men’s teams and Twenty thousand naira for women’s teams.

In a press statement released by the NFF, the registration fees were officially detailed. For the men’s competition, clubs will need to allocate N150,000 for their registration, while the women’s competition will require a fee of N100,000.
Late registrants for the men’s competition will face a higher fee of N200,000, and women’s teams will be subject to a late registration fee of N120,000.
