BREAKING! Manchester United Sign Sofyan Amrabat

Manchester United have signed Sofyan Amrabat on deadline day from Fiorentina, MySportDab reports.

Manchester United have been on the trail of Sofyan Amrabat early in the transfer window as Erik Ten Hag is said to be admirer of the player.

Ten Hag worked with Sofyan Amrabat while he was a manager at FC Utrecht in Dutch League and has identified the player as a top target to add to his midfield revamp at Manchester United.

Despite United’s concrete interest on Sofyan Amrabat, they were yet to make an offer for the player with rival clubs also lining a move for the player after his 2022 World Cup heroics in Qatar and Conference League final brilliance against West Ham United.

With the transfer window winding in a matter of hours,. Manchester United made a late shock push to sign Sofyan Amrabat with reports emerging Fiorentina are only interested in a loan move with a buy option attached to the deal.

According to David Ornstein, Manchester United flew to Italy for talks for Amrabat with arrangement on ground to transport Amrabat to Manchester for his medical when the two clubs reach agreement.

Now, according to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Fiorentina have reached agreement for Sofyan Amrabat.

 

However, details of the agreement is yet to be revealed as of the time of filing this report but Amrabat is set for his Manchester United medical and will travel to England for completion of the deal.

The Moroccan midfielder joins Manchester United as the club’s third big-name signing after Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund.

He played a big role in the move as sources close to him revealed he only wanted move to Manchester United amid interest from other clubs.
