Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has penned down a new contract with the club, MySportDab reports.

Silva joined Manchester City in 2017 from AS Monaco and has been a part of the Manchester City’s incredible rise under the watch of Pep Guardiola.

He was among the first set of players Pep Guardiola brought to Manchester City after the Spaniard became the club’s manager in 2016.

Silva has been an integral member of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City squad and has helped the team won a number of trophies.

Each season, Bernardo has always been linked with a move away from the club with interests reported from various clubs.

This summer was not different as he was linked to a number of high-profile clubs across Europe.

Barcelona and PSG were the two clubs interested in Bernardo Silva and were reportedly ready to table an offer for the player.

Silva had only a year left on his Manchester City before the new deal further fueling rumors he may leave the club with no renewal in place.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Silva has signed a new contract with Manchester City and is ready to continue with the Premier League and European giants.

Details of the report reveal Bernardo Silva will take his stay at Manchester City to nine years as he has extended his stay at the club till 2025.

The Portuguese midfielder will be expected to play a big role as usual as Manchester City set out for another legendary Premier League and European campaign.

Since joining Manchester City from Monaco, Silva has made 201 Premier League appearances for Manchester City since joining from Monaco and has scored 33 Premier League goals.

He has won the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield, Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup with the team.
