PSG Unveil Luis Enrique!

PSG have announced the signing of Luis Enrique as the club’s new manager, MySportDab reports.

The French Ligue giants confirmed the signing of Luis Enrique just hours after annoucing the termination of the contract of Christophe Galtier.

Luis Enrique, who have been out of job after Spain crashed out of the 2022 World Cup round 16, will replace Christophe Galtier as PSG new manager.

Christophe Galtier led PSG to French Ligue 1 title in his two seasons incharge of the club, but failure to break the Champions League deadlock led to his sack.

In his first season, PSG crashed out of the Champions League, losing to Real Madrid in round 16.

The Ligue 1 giants went to Spain and got the result, winning 2-0 at Santiago Bernabeu but lost 3-0 at home in the return leg.

This season, under Galtier, PSG crashed out in round 16 again, losing home and away to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Galtier successor, Luis Enrique will be expected to roll back the club’s misfortunes in the Champions League as he takes over as new manager.

Speaking at his unveiling as PSG manager, the Spanish tactician said he has no doubts he has a great team at his disposal and will be ready to take the team to greater heights.

Luis Enrique is one of the most experienced and decorated club football managers in Europe.

He has won the La Liga back to back with Barcelona in 2014/2015 and 2015/16 season.

He also won the Copa Del Rey trophy three times in a row in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

In 2015/16 season, he won the Champions League with Barcelona and has also won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
